At ISYS thanking those who have been part of our success story is important to us. We recently had the pleasure of honoring long-time ISYS nurse case manager, Carolyn L.D.
Carolyn was one of ISYS’ first case managers and has been our most tenured case manager to date. Cofounders Chris and Angie worked with Carolyn previously and were excited when she decided to join ISYS about a year after its inception. Carolyn made a natural addition to the ISYS work-family, demonstrating the value of excellence in her outstanding case management.
Throughout the years Carolyn had a tremendously positive impact on countless injured workers’ lives and developed effective relationships with numerous customers, ensuring the best possible outcomes on claims. She would go above and beyond to facilitate care for injured workers and help them through the process while servicing customers interests as well. She would assess case dynamics on a dime and make the necessary decisions to overcome barriers and move things forward.
Carolyn’s larger-than-life personality, great sense of humor, and style always made an impression. Colleagues found her no-nonsense way of communicating to be direct and often refreshing. During her many years with ISYS, Carolyn demonstrated loyalty, strong character, and work-ethic. She earned three promotions which included becoming a senior nurse case manager, a mentor, and supervisor. In fact, she led the case management department for a period, and demonstrated a style of leadership that helped prepare it for ISYS’ next developmental phase as an organization. Carolyn has demonstrated a professionalism and dedication that aligned well with ISYS’ high standards.
During her over 24 years of service, Carolyn has become somewhat of a case manager living legend within ISYS, but to us who know her personally too, she is a person we treasure, and we will always appreciate the time she has given in service to ISYS’ brand, mission, vision, and values. While it is hard to say goodbye to a long-time loyal work colleague and friend, we wish Carolyn every happiness as she embarks on this exciting new stage of life.
Thank you again, Carolyn, for all your contributions to ISYS! You are missed already, and we hope you will keep in touch.
